PY
PY is a serious experienced professional drummer who has recently fallen on hard times.
In an effort to get noticed by an intoxicated or deaf talent scout or anyone looking for a drummer who is a cut about the rest (e.g. he can count to 5 in under 3 minutes) he has reluctantly joined our band.
Some of you may recognise PY from his many television and film roles in which he starred alongside many famous actors.
Avid TV and big screen watchers would have recognised PY firstly as The Milky Bar Kid (1976-1996), and as Joe 90 (1968 to date), he was a stunt double for Chris Evans in Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast and currently as one of the two sisters in this year’s production of Cinderella at the Northcott Theatre Exeter.
PY is naturally the shy and retiring type and does not generally tend to join in with the bands more flatulent moments instead only making mild mannered complaints (when still conscious) in hushed tones at the rear of the stage area.
For the ladies, you will be pleased to hear that unlike our last drummer he is not a member of the pink hanky brigade although he looks a bit like he might be.
PY is sponsored by “eh-what” hearing aid manufactures, uses J Arthur Rank drumsticks, pasty cymbals and Ministry of Defence standard issue mustard type gas masks.
We can confirm he has been to Specsavers
